Confirmed from Hicks Canyon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Urban green space featuring soccer & baseball fields, a playground & hiking/horse trail access.
What runners say about Hicks Canyon Park
“The park is cute and clean, but the piece de resistance is totally the walking trail.”
First time taking my kids to this place and it was really nice. Soccer field, baseball field, basketball courts, restrooms, plenty parking, playground and a nice easy long bike riding, running or walking trail.
Hicks Canyon Park is a small but lively space in Irvine. My son played AYSO soccer here on Saturday mornings, and it was always great to see families gathering for the games. This was his first season, and he even made it to the playoffs. Unfortunately, he was sick on playoff day.
This is by far one of the best walks in Irvine! The park is cute and clean, but the piece de resistance is totally the walking trail. It accommodates bikes, pets and people. It is relatively shady so a long walk is so easy. My puppy just loves this place. He can walk and run and sniff to his heart's content.
This is the way I love the most. Walking every day for 5 years, in my mouth Oh! I am happy! This road is all beautiful from dawn to night!
