Confirmed from Hillside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring 6 miles of challenging mountain biking trails through an oak forest.
What runners say about Hillside Park
Best mtn/fat bike park in Elk River and great for trail running/hiking
An amazing, challenging, and rewarding single track. Broken up into four sections this six mile long single track offers great technicals, smooth straightaways, and fun uphill downhill riding. You can complete the course in about an hour.
This park has great mountain bike trails. They can be used by hikers too. We brought out 5yo and 3yo there to ride the trails even! Mountain bikers have a variety of trails from easy to difficult.
Sweet trail! Never knew this was here until today found it on the alltrails app:)
Trail conditions & character
“Fantastic single track, tons of twists and turns, watch out for sand in the turns especially when it hasn't rained for a while.”
“A newly added mountain bike skills area adjacent to the parking lot further complements the park's facilities.”

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
