Confirmed from Hofstra Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“It's not a huge park but it is quiet and peaceful and is good for a brisk walk or run.”
Park is being redone where the kiddies used to play, they put new basketball courts clean bathrooms baseball fields a big beautiful soccer as well as a football field to play on, bike paths as well as walking paths and the best part you have outside exercise equipment. A lot of room to play and relaxing.
Edit: they added a turf soccer field. It's still amazing. I moved into an apartment within walking distance. I've walked in this park every day since I moved in. Follow my Instagram for a ton of pictures of me at the park.
For a small, compact space, it's got a lot! Parking, walking/jogging/biking trails through the woods, sports facilities, a big sprinkler thingie for the kids, a playground, a pavillion, picnic areas, and natural areas. But it is a borough park so check at Prospect Park city hall.
