Confirmed from Hueytown Park & Recreation's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Restrooms

Park with a playground, picnic tables, and baseball field, plus a public restroom.

What runners say about Hueytown Park & Recreation

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (387 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“The building itself was in great condition.”

We were returning home and my wife found this park on Google. It was a great place for our 2 and 3 year old to run around and take a break from our 12 hour car ride. We especially enjoy the fenced in area so we didn't have to worry about them running onto the highway.

★★★★★ — Chad , Nov 2021

Exercise equipment got removed. Hoping there is aa plan to bring it back eventually. The trail is pretty nice and the ballparks look good.

★★★★☆ — Rebecca , Dec 2023

I miss the old park but this is better for the kids to run around and have fun I think they did a great job

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 4 mentions

“The bathrooms are decent, and it has something every child can play on no matter what age they are.”
