Confirmed from Hull Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“very well kept, and very pretty view all the way around!”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 12 mentions

“Beautiful park with great water view, green space, conservation garden, solar-system--theme art.”

Nice park along the Boardman Lake. There are plenty tables and benches and small pavilion at one end. The Boardman Lake trail goes through the park. At the north end there's a boat launch and a platform for fishing. I saw two people fishing when I visited.

Cool little spot where you can watch sailboat classes, or walk along the Boardman trail! Some good food spots nearby and an all around easy place to relax and enjoy some views.

The park is seemingly small but with a fun twist. The park includes a trail nearby. This actually includes planets, in our solar system, that are away from the sun positioned near the start of the boardman river. As you progress your way along the trail you see more and more planets. It's bloody brilliant.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
