Confirmed from Hunter Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hunter Park
“A very nice park that has playground equipment, shaded areas, and the Fairfield Heritage Trail passes through it.”
Very nice newer park, there is a trail nearby for bikes and walking. There is also a field for playing on. The restrooms are good and functional, and the playground is amazing! There is also a trail nearby. Have already been a few times, will definitely be back!
I absolutely love this park it's wheelchair accessible, there is music things, many different swings, walking bath and a little work out area. The floor is soft but not mulch. There are nice bathrooms and tables under an canopy type shade! 10/10 would recommend.
GREAT park! 7 yr old g-daughter bugged me to stop, so we did. Base under apparatus is a rubbery substance, so falls are easier on the knees. Nice variety of items to play on, plenty of seating for 'rents. Access to walking trails.
One of the better playgrounds in the area, if not the best. Right next to the bike path, it has a nice soft play area and there is a nice covered area to eat.
