Confirmed from Hutto Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
39-acre park with a bird blind, playground & picnic areas, plus a boat launch, fishing pier & trail.
What runners say about Hutto Lake Park
“The lake itself is beautiful, and it never feels too crowded.”
“It’s perfect for a peaceful walk, fishing, or just relaxing by the water.”
I came here because I read on Google local that this was a good place to watch the sunset. I'm glad I did! I had the dock all to myself to watch the sunset on the lake. Some fish came to the surface to check me out, or they were little water snake heads-- I don't know! It was very calm and peaceful.
One of the best community parks around. Nice landscaping! Super well maintained playground, pavilion, picnic sites, washrooms, b ball courts and trails. YouTube videos show good bass fishing. Worth the visit. Followup...
Hidden park, very quiet. Lucky people live around this beautiful park. Open, spread out with walking trails, picnic benches, grill, restrooms and a small sheltered place where a bigger party can be held. It also has a basketball court, a very small children play area.
Not much here except peace and quiet. Trail around the lake that's right at 1 mile and an overhead shelter with a few picnic tables under it. Also has a bathroom and a few grills.
