We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Indian Run Falls yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Serene, forested urban oasis with a stream, scenic cascading waterfall & nature trails.
What runners say about Indian Run Falls
“First time here such a beautiful place to come visit the waterfalls here the trail is a out and back trail turn around come back the way you started.”
“I will definitely return to this peaceful gem of a park!”
This was a gorgeous walk. Paths are wide and flat. Full trail is a little over a mile (1/2 in and 1/2 back) Shaded for the most part. Indian run Falls ends at the Veterans Park. There are two different falls. There is a bridge and viewing platform. No cost.
Absolutely beautiful spot!!. Well worth the trip. They have trails everywhere and you can adventure where ever you like. There's a couple picnic areas that are kinda off the beaten path where we stopped and ate!. There are a few waterfalls. It's just an awesome spot. Definitely will be returning!!
First time here such a beautiful place to come visit the waterfalls here the trail is a out and back trail turn around come back the way you started. There is a large concrete bridge that goes across the stream but that appears to be gated off and not used anymore!
Nice park to go for a nature walk. They also moved a cabin there that was built in 1850. I met a man named John who was in the process of restoring the fireplace to its former glory. Very nice man and full of information, if you catch him there. Went back today and took pics of his completed fireplace. Looks great!
