What runners say about Ireland Brook Conservation Area
One of my favorite parks in Middlesex County. It has a great long trail that I think a lot of people would enjoy. I wish Google Maps had an accurate depiction of Ireland Brook Park instead of the green blob they currently have.
A pleasant spot for a 3–4 hour walk, with some easy trails scattered throughout. It isn’t overly crowded, and while the trail markings aren’t the best, they’re manageable if you pay attention. I went at the end of November, so the scenery wasn’t very green—summer would be a better time to enjoy the lush surroundings.
I love the trails here. there is water and it is buggy so tuck your pants in your shoes and use repellent. most trails are cleared and I always meet other friendly hikers along the paths. there are alot of good fishing spots here. there a a few places you can put your canoe or small boat in no fees.
Nice little hiking 🥾 area. Bring bug spray and dress appropriately. Have fun.
