Confirmed from Isaac Crossman Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Isaac Crossman Park
“Beautiful forest with a mountain stream”
“The trail is very peaceful and the playground is Retro but very well maintained.”
The entrance on the E Jefferson street side is hard to find and there is no sign. But the park and the trail was great. The brook had running water and there were kids playing in the brook. We even saw two dear a block from the park in a house's backyard.
This is a really neat trail and playground that feels kinda hidden away. The trail is very peaceful and the playground is Retro but very well maintained. I honestly don’t know If I’ve ever seen that yellow cage thing in person before or ever seen the rocking cars. Definitely an interesting hidden curiosity
Nice walk along a stream with a traditional playground for little ones. Also across the street from one of the original 40 boundary markers that defined the 100 square like good of DC. In a year or so there will also be a big kid playground there, but it was still under construction in 2020.
