Confirmed from Island Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverfront park offering a gazebo, bandstand & picnic shelter, plus a playground, walkway & fishing.

“From summer events such as the Rhapsody Arts and Music festival to an after lunch stroll on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, Island Park has a little of something for everyone.”
“It is just so peaceful and a place that allows for everyone to move freely.”
What a quaint park in the middle of Elkhart river. It was a perfect evening walk after dinner downtown, and you can walk to the park from dinner if you wanted. There’s pavilions, a park for kids to play, and even disc golf course!
Very clean and beautiful park! We were visiting family and decided to check this park out and let the little one play. Cute playground, no swings but plenty of slides! A very peaceful, quiet and gorgeous place to walk around! I was surprised there weren’t more people for a Saturday Morning. We will definitely be back!
Had a wonderful time with family.. Such an Awesome place to walk and talk, site see and exercise!! Met an AMAZING family that helped ME find my car key!! A 100. Key at that... THANKS again to that Beautiful family!! God bless...
We like to go here and fish, let the kids play, or walk. We enjoy the scenery and the fact that the park is big enough that you get to keep to yourself if needed. There’s ducks to feed, places to fish, benches to relax on, and a great playground for kids to play.
