Confirmed from Italian Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Laid-back park encompassing a lake, with fountains and benches.
What runners say about Italian Lake Park
“Park is clean and pretty quiet given the bustling surroundings.”
“Beautiful lake and lovely place to chill and take in a listen of a local band(PA).”
“Very serene feeling and I could picture myself being able to lay out a blanket and read, or sit on a bench for people watching!”
Beautiful park for a walk, yet it’s typically almost empty! Google the Italian Lake events schedule for music / events in the summer.
Wonderful oasis in the heart of Uptown Harrisburg!! It serves as a great place for a healthy and relaxing walk or a spot to simply sit and enjoy the beauty of nature. The pavilion stage is available to host a variety of performances and special events.
Perfect park for a long walk or quick jog. I almost forgot I was in central Pennsylvania while walking around the lake. Very serene feeling and I could picture myself being able to lay out a blanket and read, or sit on a bench for people watching!
I forgot how lovely it is to walk around Italian Lake, but I quickly remembered why I don't walk here often; the geese droppings are a nuisance to maneuver while walking. Nevertheless, this public urban park is worth visiting, even though I didn't see the white swans.
