Confirmed from Ivy Creek Foundation's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with walking trails and picnic tables, plus wildlife and historical interest.

“Trails were well marked, with a variety of options.”
I really love these trails! There are beavers, otters, and herons. The trails are well maintained and marked. NOTE: DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
I did the Red trail. It was 1.7 mile according to the map. The trail is well marked. Since no chance to get lost. Also it was quite crowded. The trail itself was full of ups and downs. Overall, I enjoyed walking down there. Also this trail take you closer to the waterbody.
Incredible preserved farm and some fantastic hiking trails that make you feel miles away from the city. Highly recommended.
Great place well groomed trails educational hikes and presentations. Something for everyone in all 4 seasons no better place to immerse yourself in nature. Went on an informative mushroom and other fungi walk today put on by the Virginia Native Plant Society.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
