Confirmed from Jesse James Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park for walking, picnics and trout fishing, plus a playground.
What runners say about Jesse James Park
“The dog park here is well maintained and easy to use.”
“Walking trails, beautiful trees, play area, soccer fields, and fishing opportunity.”
“The various slides keep all ages entertained.”
Wow, can’t say enough about this place! So much activity going on here! The walking trails are the best, disc golf, soccer fields, ball fields, trout pond and a dog park!
We decided to check out this park. I've never been here. Me and my 3 sons decided to try trout fishing. Parking wasn't great, but afterwards I realized people just parked in the grass, next time I'll be able to park closer to where I fish. We fished a few hours and caught 9, we decided to leave to have lunch.
My Dog & I came to the Bark Park so he could run around a bit. Grogu always enjoys it. The only con i have would be that the 'large dog's' side can get/be/stay wet in the middle where it slopes down. I see you guys planted a tree on that side. Much, much appreciated. I would like to see a couple more.
This park is beautiful. It has so many amenities for public use including an awesome park, soccer fields, long walking trail, disc golf course, fishing pond abundant and restocked often with fish, plus the amphitheater and more. What a blessing this park is to our community.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
