Confirmed from John Tanner Park (Carroll County Park)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
138-acre, lakefront park offering a sandy beach, campsites, a mini-golf course, playground & trails.

Park is nice and well maintained. There is 2 lakes. One has a beach and swimming area. The other is just a fishing lake. There are 2 sections for camping. One is full hookup and the other just offers power and water. There is 2 bathhouses in this area. One has a laundry area.
A beautiful place. There is a paved loop around the pond for walking/ biking. Great fishing.. A beautiful sandy beach with a swimming area on one side of the pond. There are shelters you can reserve for parties and they have grills. Plenty of restrooms. They have a great campground.
Quiet leisurely walk around the upper and lower lake. Would be a great setting for some bank fishing. There's also a beach ⛱️ 😎. Daily parking fee is reasonable at $5. An annual parking fee of $50.
Always love going here. Not really a fan of the water but a nice place to walk and grill out
