Confirmed from Johnnie Johnson nature trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Johnnie Johnson nature trails
“A beautiful place and an excellent trail to visit I have been traveling this trail for years and always love coming hear its so peaceful and Relaxing here”
“Though it was a hot summer day in Florida, the trail is relatively shady and enjoyable.”
Hidden gem to say the least. This is a must visit paved trail with beautiful scenery that leads to the back of EFSC (with a playground for the kids and courts for basketball and volleyball) and on the other end a museum.
Nice set of trails behind the Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science. The entrance is to the left of the Museum if you are facing the building. The trails take your through palms, ferns, oaks and cypress covered in Spanish moss.
Although not a long trail it's mainly shaded, which is a huge plus! Lots of areas to meander off the paved walkway into the woods and you can circle around and find a bridge. Nice trail for me and my dogs even throughout summer.
