Confirmed from Johnny Henderson Family Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“One of my favorite family friendly and dog friendly places to walk.”

One of my favorite family friendly and dog friendly places to walk. There is a playground for kids, ponds that the walking path takes you around, a bridge, and cute ducks to watch.

I am absolutely in love with this park. It's beautiful, has awesome lakes and the geese don't bite 👍🏻 the hiking trails are nicely paved. Tons of cute squirrels and listening to the birds in the trees is very relaxing. I highly recommend it. Kids have a great selection of play equipment and there is a dog area..👍🏻🥰

★★★★★ — Mistylin , Dec 2025

Very nice park. Walking trail is nice and the scenery is gorgeous. The play area has a splash pad as well as a large playground. Parking is free and adequate, with handicapp accessible areas. The majority of the walking areas are paved and well kept.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
