Grew up right down the road from this park. Over the years I've canoed/kayaked, hiked, ran, and (when they had it years ago, not sure they do now) went horseback riding. The lookout is a cool spot and the trails are very nice. Lots of wildlife and have even seen a scrub Jay while at the park.
One of our absolute favorites! This park has quickly climbed our top 5 billboard. My wife and I, along with our three dogs, were thoroughly impressed by the experience from start to finish. The Space and Nature The campsites are huge, giving you plenty of room to breathe even with three dogs in tow.
This state park has a lot to do if you’re into the outdoors—hiking, biking, kayaking, and camping. The views are really nice, the trails are in good shape, and the facilities are clean.
