Confirmed from Joseph Medwick Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This park offers scenic river vistas plus ball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds & picnic groves.

This has become a great spot for me and my son to walk every day after school. We get to see the birds, rabbits and deer which always excites him. I love the path which is always clear unless the deer are there but it’s great for a peaceful walk and great area.
It's actually the recreational activity half (soccer and ball fields; walking/ jogging path) of Hawk Rise Sanctuary, 1811 Lower Rd, Linden, NJ on the other side of the grass covered land fill. Check out the sanctuary too. 👍
Beautiful park, nice new tennis courts, nice. Well kept. Long. Walking path, bike path, alongside the river.....nice picnicking area. Several ball fields, never. Crowded , very peaceful..... ohhh. Many many deer .
One of the best parks I've ever been to, with lots to explore. It has baseball, football, and soccer fields all around it. Overall the park is very clean and is definitely a great place to go for a jog.
