Confirmed from K-96 Bicycle Path Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about K-96 Bicycle Path Trailhead
Such a great bike trail system here in Wichita, we only planned to stay one day but after seeing how easy it is to bike around the city with its many bike trails we decided to extend our stay and enjoy the town. This trail is a great trail to bike with your family and will get you to so many different places.
This is a pretty decent Trail. There are a lot of sidewalks to stay on if you don't like going off the beaten path much there are few ponds in the park that you can fish in. Every time I go here I do see a group of deer so there is some Wildlife here and there's also some bird watching posts spread around the park.
One of the best trains in Sedgwick County area. You could either walk, ride bicycle or even skate on the well maintained paved paths. The best time to see some deer is around evening just before the sun goes down closer to Woodlawn entrance.
Fun and safe trails. Very family friendly. Go inside the nature center, if they're open. Pretty neat stuff in there, including a huge aquarium and beehive.
