Confirmed from Keehner Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Keehner Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,121 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“Naturally my toddler was attracted to the biggest slide on the playground (He backed out after 5 minutes of debating if he could do it) Grounds are well kept.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“Very nice park with many shelter areas with grills, amphitheater, beautiful hiking trail, play area, pickle ball and tennis court, soccer field etc.”

Great place to chill, well maintained. Bathrooms are open and handicapped accessible. If you’re going on the trails from this trailhead bring some tick repellent because there’s a lot of low hanging vegetation. Dog friendly, but no bag dispensers so bring your own poo bags.

This park is absolutely amazing!!! Lots of picnic tables under shelters great for get togethers. The trail gets a little steep, but the view is totally worth the hike. Beautiful amphitheater too!

Fairly nice park with ample parking. Playground accommodates toddlers and older children. Naturally my toddler was attracted to the biggest slide on the playground (He backed out after 5 minutes of debating if he could do it) Grounds are well kept. Seems like a go to place for dogs. Plenty of room to run.

Overall a clean and family friendly place. We walked up the creek for about a quarter of a mile this morning. Plenty of little fish and spiders. Only saw the one snake. ;( Also a great location for PokémonGO! All still valid. Clean area. Bathrooms are usually well kept. City takes good care of this park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
