Confirmed from Keller-Kirn Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Keller-Kirn Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (83 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 11 mentions

“This is a beautiful park with plenty of woodsy land to explore whilst playing disc golf or spending time with friends.”

Great place for a hike! I was worried when we pulled in and the parking lot was full, but it was all Frisbee golfers, we walked 3.5 miles of trails and not another soul to be found. Anyone complaining about the Frisbee guys must have wandered off the trail.

This is a Lancaster, Ohio city park. It has a frisbee golf course. It also has trails that sometimes cross the frisbee golf course but maps are set up along the trails to let you know when.I never heard of this park until recently. It is less than a mile from Rising Park.

★★★★★ — Rjd , Nov 2021

The trails are mostly cleared. Except for some fallen trees that cross over the trail. Some areas have pretty nice views that look over the town. There is also some places to rock climb (with your own gear). I don't play frisbee golf, but the course seems to be pretty good.

★★★★☆ — Angelo , Jul 2021

I love disc golfing/hiking here. The trails lead back to "Flat Rock" where you have a good view of the area on the other side of Memorial Dr. from the shopping centers. The course is nice, but later in the season the brush on the sides gets really thick, so throw carefully.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadwater — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
