Confirmed from Kendall Pond Conservation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Laid-back park with trails and picnic tables, plus a pond and marshy area.
What runners say about Kendall Pond Conservation Area
“Unfortunately, there are people who bring their dogs and don't clean up after the dog does it's business.”
Nice clean park. Nice walking trail with random painted stones hidden among the walking trails. Also, nice fishing areas along the trails.
It was a fun, easy, and flat walk. It did have a few fun little places to have a moment to take in the sunset and enjoy just getting away a little bit. It does sit close to the road so you can hear the cars, but still being surrounded by trees is a great place to be.
Great place for a walk - there's a pond where we saw a bald eagle, a marshy area with an elevated outlook where we saw some Eastern bluebirds, and a few trails where we heard there was a barred owl but we couldn't find it.
Love it here. You have the option of a long or short walk, on or off trail. The trails are well kept and the painted rocks are a nice touch.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
