Confirmed from Kingman Island Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Kingman Island Trail
There are two trails that feed into each other and plenty of secluded spots that are good for solitude or intimate activities (picnic date)
Nice relaxing spot in the city. Plenty of parking in Lot 6 and walk over the bridge to the island. This trail is nice for a short natural walk and bird watching. Nice place for a weekend picnic as it is not crowded compared to other parks in the city.
I visited this trail today. It's very nice. The trail is well maintained. There are seats, announcement boards throughout showing point of interest, and rustic walking bridges. You can also fish and kayak

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
