Confirmed from Kohlrausch Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Well-maintained park featuring a playground and picnic area with baseball fields and grass space.
What runners say about Kohlrausch Park
“Absolutely fabulous so very clean my grandson enjoyed himself deeply”
“Very dog-friendly and some short walking trails behind the park.”
Small park with a flat path for doing laps around the park, walking or running. My seven year old liked rideing his bike around it, I was able to watch him as he rode around no problem at all. No porta potties the day I went but they usaly have them in warmer weather. Not really a busy park.
I love this park, I get my exercise by walking my dog. There are benches for me to rest on. I have walked with my dogs here for years. The play area is well maintained for kids to play on. I have seen baseball games being played there. The pavilion has tables and benches to sit.
It lacks regular swings (con) . Mulch rather than sand (neither pro nor con). Appears well maintained (pro). It has a track right next to it (bonus if you like to run and can leave your kid semi-supervised) . Other than that, it's a park--not much to say.
Good park. Smaller/medium size. One baseball diamond with extended grass area, playground w/wood chips for kids. Asphalt loop outside around field for walking, etc. Some dedicated free parking, usually a porta potty on site. Sheltered picnic table area.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
