Good well maintained place. I met at least three photographers waiting for their moment. Seems to be a favorite for bird photography. There were many benches facing towards the lake. Small but beautiful area. I reached here as I was walking around the lake to to complete a loop.
Beautiful place for a walk. There is an abandoned crematorium which was used for the state hospital for the mentally ill towards the north-west end of the Lake, or a separate branch of the pathway. Pretty freaky.
Dog friendly! Fishing, trails, benches on north side, a beach on the south. Kayak, windsurf, boat ramps, beautiful!
This trail is about 2.5 miles around and mostly shaded. It's well-maintained and has great views of Lake Chauncy.
