Confirmed from Lake Elsinore Levee's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lake destination featuring a waterfront trail for walking and jogging, plus exercise equipment.

Nice path to bike, run, or walk along. i brought my 2 small dogs and we did about 5 miles . the path was clean and flat. there is a nice view of the lake. we would come back!
Took the bikes to the levee a couple of times and we really enjoyed ourselves. Trail is wide and relatively flat. Round trip is about 9.5 miles. Plenty of benches to rest on if needed and port-a-potty. Located behind the Lake Elsinore Storm baseball field.
This trail is a nice place to run. My son enjoys coming along to ride his bicycle. You don't have to be concerned about drivers texting here. Just come out for a nice walk or run. It is very exposed to the sun with no shade, so if you are sensitive to that, be prepared.
Great place to run or ride your bikes. Long level road next to the lake. Plenty of portable potties along the path. Please pick up after your dog. Don't be that guy.

“A beautiful spring weekday afternoon walk with friends and their kids along a very flat path on the Lake Elsinore levee.”
“The paths are broad & smooth, and lined with exercise stations & regularly serviced portajohns.”
“You can hear the insects chirping, the ducks honking, the birds tweeting, the distant residential dogs barking, and the faroff cars driving along the 15 freeway.”
“Newly installed street lights on the walking path make the walk into the night nice after the hot days.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
