Confirmed from Lake Tye Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Community park with a lake for water activities, plus sports fields, a playground & multiuse trail.
What runners say about Lake Tye Park
“Well maintained park with nice lake to swim in and nice path around the lake great for dogs and kids”
“Mother's day was packed with kids and families and it was so nice to see so many people celebrating the beautiful Sunday there with their families.”
This place is really fun the toys are relatively new there's benches and some Shaded areas that can be rented and there's a sort of Sandy beach that kids and people can play on. I believe it's 1.8 miles around the lake and there's a path all the way.
Lake Tye Park is a wonderful community park with wide open spaces, sports fields, a skateboarding area, playground, fishing, concession stand and a walking trail along the lake. Facilities are well maintained and there are lots of parking spaces nearby.
Lake Tye provides plenty for all ages. For the children there is a sizable varied play area which is near seating for the parents. For the sports enthusiast are plenty of #fishing areas, and a boat launch, although no lifeboats are provided, as well as a #skatepark, tennis court and sports field.
This is very good park for walking jagging. One of the great places for kids as well with water access and play area. Big play grounds as well. Good picnic spot.
