Confirmed from Lakefront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a beach, picnic areas, playground, and boat launch on the shore of Round Lake.
What runners say about Lakefront Park
“The beach was small but clean and had a playground with bathrooms.”
“There are lots of trees if you want shade and a large sand beach if you want sun.”
We come to this park a lot... mostly because of the FREE beach and pretty views. There are lots of trees if you want shade and a large sand beach if you want sun. The park is well maintained and there are lifeguards. The bathrooms are nice, but only open in the summer while the park is staffed.
Very well kept park. It includes some nice pathways, picnic tables, park benches, shelters, an area to put your kayak in and a place to go swimming. It wasn't very busy when we went, there was plenty of parking and no fee to use the beach. Very nice bridge with a view overlooking the lake.
Beautiful ground. Great place to fish, spend time outdoors with family, or take a walk solo. Picnic benches and seating available. Also a small playground for kids.
