Confirmed from Lansing Woods' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean preserve featuring picnic tables, bike and walking trails and woods.
What runners say about Lansing Woods
“I loved how it was nice and clean, not very crowded, off a main street, and frequently patrolled by park police.”
“Love the trails, very Scenic and great way to get away from the concrete conformity 😉”
The paths are paved and well kept. There is a variety of flora. Its a beautiful place to relax and take in some fresh air.
Great place for a walk, run, or bike ride. The paved trail is easy to follow and leads through prairie meadows and forests. There are deer in the woods and they're not overly skittish so there's a good chance of spotting one.
I like the trails in the woods are nice especially during the summer but even in the winter when it's really crispy cold and the snow crunches under your feet it's not too bad but always be careful and watch your surroundings
My family and I visited the open area for a surprise picnic for my son. I loved how it was nice and clean, not very crowded, off a main street, and frequently patrolled by park police. We will come back to explore the trail.
