It is very interesting to have a geological center located beside a rest center. The interpretive signs were thought provoking and abundant. Paths were easy to walk on and perfect for the location—beside a test center where people need to walk a little and take their pets for a walk
Located at the North Blackfoot – Northbound Rest Area off the I-15 interstate. There is a large parking lot adjacent to the trailhead along with a pavilion with restrooms inside. There are also a few covered/uncovered picnic tables along the lower trail. Great place to visit if you need to stretch your legs for a few.
