We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lay Preserve Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lay Preserve Trailhead
Really well maintained trails with great markings. The trails visited were easy to moderate hiking
This is a great place for a trail run as long as you follow the trail maps or AllTrails, because there are a lot of differently-colored blazed trails. The trails here are not too technical, so they’re good for straight-up runs or beginners who don’t have their trail legs yet, or simply for hikers or dog walkers.
Nice Preserve. Well kept trails. Hope to get back soon. Heron rookery was so cool.
