Confirmed from Lea McKeighan Park - South's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a shelter, a playground, a skate park, ball diamonds, volleyball courts & restrooms.
What runners say about Lea McKeighan Park - South
“Anytime possible and all times of the day clean and adequate police patrols which provide comfort to early morning and late nights!”
“All ages will have a blast.”
This is a beautiful park. Very much so a people person's park because there are so many children on the playground but even for other there's wide grassy areas for you to have a picnic or play a game far away from kids. The atmosphere is really nice.
I LOVE this park! It is a great place to start the day as you're likely to catch a beautiful sunrise. I come here to relax and walk. I'm not able to walk fast or very far without stopping a minute to reboot, as my OLD softball body adjusts to being older 😆.
I wish they had parks like this everywhere. A nice walking path along the perimeter and tons of things for the kids to play on.
I enjoy this park. They have two of them, one for smaller children and then one for older children is awesome and they have a little pond where you can walk around. You can run around and play in the grass where there's no poop in the grass at all. Great place to enjoy family and get some fresh air.
Trail conditions & character
“I roller skate around the loop there on a regular basis, apparently so regular I ran into the same old man over and over.”
“Always a great time usually busy but still able to get in and play, walk the dogs or just hang out.”
