Confirmed from Leakin Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 6 mentions

“I bike through here all the time - even on the hiking trails - & it's as quiet as a cemetery.”

very nice oasis in the middle of the suburbs. The trails are more numerous and longer than I expected. The picnic area is very beautiful and has a garden which attracts butterflies. I didn't get to the waterfall this time.

One of Baltimore's best hidden gems. Beautiful old historic park tucked away with a nature center, mansion, both forest and paved trails and not to mention a beautiful stream with picturesque bridges. Walk the dog, jog, bike, roller blade, take pictures or go for a leisurely stroll

If you’re craving some Natural, raw outdoors hiking, this is the place to go! I actually got lost, all my fault, but it was still magically memorable, so much history in these woods.

Don't know what all the fearmongering hubbub is all about. I bike through here all the time - even on the hiking trails - & it's as quiet as a cemetery.🤷🏼‍♂️

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
