Confirmed from Levee Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Levee Park
“There are water, fountains, and water fill up areas as well as a small splash pad and great views of Mississippi river.”
“Levee Park in Winona is a scenic and peaceful place, especially during winter.”
Levee Park and the river trail are a great place for community events and spending some nice time next to the river. There are music events here and on Saturday mornings, there is a farmers market.
Levee Park in Winona is a scenic and peaceful place, especially during winter. I visited on a quiet winter noon, and the Mississippi River was completely frozen, offering a beautiful and serene view.
Gorgeous views if your looking for sunrise or sunset! There are grassy areas for some great picnics, and during the warmer months the high levee is covered in chalk drawings. A great place to walk around or study at, if you're looking for a casual place to spend time outside, I recommend the levee.
Great view of the river! And plenty of space to fish it!. It's also walking distance from the movie theater, restaurants and dive bars, plus plenty of tables and benches for seating at the park this is also where the boat tour begins! You can take it from me but I rather you check it out yourself.
