Confirmed from Lilac Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Popular park offering picnic tables, a biking trail, a fire pit and a restored beehive grill.

What runners say about Lilac Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (54 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Quaint little park off the trail, tucked into a corner. Not a "destination park", but a great place to scoot to on a lunch or coffee break for a few minutes of fresh-(ish) air!

★★★★☆ — Loren , Jun 2018

Historic park with both trail and road access. Bathroom but no water. Large fire pit.

★★★★★ — Tom , Oct 2017

To respond to an earlier comment, this is not off the Luce line! It is on the Southeast quadrant of Highways 100 & 7. And is located along the Southwest bicycle trail, not the Luce line! From this location the Luce line is several miles north. I am frequently in this location especially during summer bicycling.

Really cute little park with a surprising history! Great place for my sister's dog to run off the wiggles without bothering anybody.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 2 mentions

“There's a porta potty available, but limited parking.”
