Confirmed from Lincoln Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This spacious park is laid out beautifully and extremely well groomed! Among its many attractions are a Veterans Memorial, a large gazebo/bandstand, multiple ponds, a picnic shelter, and a multi-use trail.

Lincoln Park is a beautiful park near Lake Storey in Galesburg. It has plenty of room to spread out and is about a mile to walk around the loop. There are no walking paths so watch out for cars! There is a nice playground, multiple pavilions, and a nice gazebo.

Nice bass, muskie, and catfish. Some good size carp and more bluegill than you can shake a stick at. Black Crappies are plentiful, but a bit on the small side. Bank fishing is full access at Lincoln park. The main lake could us more trails for bank fishing, but overall this lake is under rated by most locals.

Very private from the city life. In a nice neighborhood to feel safe. My kids had tons of room to run and not have to worry about cars really. All the leaves from the trees made great piles to play in. We had a blast. My children are 2 and 4 and played on everything together!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
