Confirmed from Lions Club Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tranquil park featuring a playground and a fishing pond as well as picnic tables and a grill.
What runners say about Lions Club Park
“Clean park, cool day, there is a pavilion to keep you out of the sun while the kids play.”
“It's got a nice playground, pavilion, duck pond and plenty of shade for a picnic under the tree.”
Nice clean park with things for the kids and adults. Nice pavilion and grill. Ducks are always running around the pond and on the east side they have horse shoe pit setup. Everything you need to have a fun afternoon.
The well-maintained grounds offer a perfect blend of recreation and relaxation. The playground is great for kids, and the walking trails provide a serene escape. Clean restrooms and ample picnic areas add convenience. While the park is generally fantastic, some areas could benefit from additional shade.
It's great for kids to play or have a picnic. Fish catch and release only. Great place to relax and watch ducks and geese as well as the fountain. Even to walk around. Been coming here with my kids for the last 15 yrs
Good playground with covered seating for a picnic or small event. Pretty duck pond, and space to take a walk in nature, though there's not a walking path. Lots of running room for kids, and kept clean and maintained.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
