We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lonsdale Gateway Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lonsdale Gateway Trailhead
This great local hiking trail goes between the parking lot near Arnold House, through the woods, through fields, and ending up in the fields at Great Road Heritage Campus (Pullen's Corner Schoolhouse, Hearthside House Museum, Hannaway Blacksmith Shop). This is a fairly short and easy hike as long as you like stairs.
Small network of wooded trails that connect Gateway Park to Chase Farm and Lonsdale Elementary. A beautiful slice of nature in all four seasons
