If you're heading toward Los Gatos, the hill right before the Campbell Inn is a bit rough. Otherwise, fine enough ride on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of other walkers, joggers, and cyclists. Expect to feel a bit slow and out of shape if you're aiming more for leisurely than personal record though.
Good trail that follows Los Gatos Creek and goes from Meridian Rd in San Jose to Lexington Reservoir. It's a good alternative to taking city streets as a commute option and a fair amount of access points for major roads and parks within San Jose, Campbell, and Los Gatos.
