Confirmed from Louie Pompei Memorial Sports Park (by Reservation Only)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A regulation baseball diamond & a softball field are the focus of this city park with picnic areas.
What runners say about Louie Pompei Memorial Sports Park (by Reservation Only)
“the sports center is a good sports center to bring your kids too, they have a great concessions booth and the fields are well-maintained and have a great venue.”
“Not too much shade so bring an umbrella.”
Louie Pompeii Memorial Sports Park is the premier destination for softball in the San Gabriel Valley. Home fields for the Glendora Lassie League, an all-girls fastpitch organization in USA Softball of Southern California's Northern District. Also home to Victory, a youth softball team for girls with special needs.
In addition to the playing fields, there’s a short paved bike path that goes to Sunflower Avenue. A great place to walk and socialize a dog!
Trail conditions & character
“Good place to bring your dogs AND kids for a nice day in the Sun.”
“This is a well maintained area and clean with separate female and male bathrooms.”
