Lovely family park with statues of the iconic Lucille Ball. Worth a stop if you are with a family and staying at the Chautauqua Hotel. It is adjacent to the park and sits along a river walk path.
The Lucille Ball Memorial Park is located on Lake Chautauqua near Lucille Ball’s Hometown of Jamestown, New York. The Park seems to be a popular place with the locals as there were several people walking and enjoying other park activities.
Amazing and scenic park. Lucille Ball is honored there as she most certainly deserves. There is a very large playground for children and bike paths. The view of Chautauqua Lake is a stellar one. There is a dock for fishing and another for loading wheelchair bound persons onto boats.
Honestly worth the stop just for the laugh! The park itself is a super nice, peaceful spot right on Chautauqua Lake, but you're really here to see the two Lucy statues. Posing next to the infamous "Scary Lucy" and then walking over to the gorgeous "New Lucy" is such a fun contrast.
