A good place 2 take the kids 2 park u even can walk ur dog just have ur dog on leash & pick after them but there is no bathroom the city should build a bathroom and the park is nice an clean or u can take a walk around the park
I used to live in the area from 1997 until 2010. During that time used to take my daughter to this park regularly right after we moved there until my daughter was 10 years old. At the time it was called Olive Park. It was kind of run down then. Since then the park was renamed Lucinda Garcia Park.
The park was just renovated with new play ground sets. I love that there’s a fence around the playgrounds so kids don’t just run out towards the streets. There’s plenty of trees to give shade as well as benches and picnic tables if you want to stay awhile.
Since it reopened, I love it! Love taking my kids and just walking around. The 2 playground are amazing 👏 Perfect view of the mountains ⛰️ The touch of history they added to the park about pacific electric is awesome 👌
