We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lynn Harbor Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lynn Harbor Park
“It allows a 360⁰ view of Lynn, the ocean, and a great view of the Boston Skyline.”
It’s not a playground, but it’s a lovely place to walk. The views are great. The landscaping is very nice and has many benches and a covered picnic area. This is another jewel, like Lynn Woods, that we are blessed to have in our city. It’s a park, not some place to buy things to eat, nor does it have public bathrooms.
My daughter and I always go for walks with our dog, but be careful. Yesterday we saw a coyote down by the ocean. It was walking without any fear, stopped, pooped and looked at us, and slowly walked away. As soon as my daughter saw it, she grabbed her dog, and we turned around and walked away.
I’m not sure why others gave this 3-4 stars. This is a hidden gem on Lynn’s South Harbor. A great new escape for a brisk inclined 360 degree walk with a spectacular view of the Broad Sound. With new paths still being developed, this is an up & coming breath of fresh air for surrounding cities. A must visit!
Beautiful water views. There are some picnic tables but no grills. The paths have gravel and are not paved so it will be difficult with strollers or mobility issues. Seems like a full basketball court. There are two pickleball courts and not tennis courts.
