We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lynn Woods Reservation yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Went hiking for the first time and, WOW!. It didn't disappoint. It has parking and is free, which is something I didn't know. When you first start you see different trails. I choose the green one. Apparently, not only is the longest is the rockiest 🤪.

Long trail to walk and breathe on. Seen a couple wild life animals as well. Being near the water was my favorite because you can hear the low breeze through the water while the small little waves crash around the few rocks in that area.

Lynn Woods Reservation is one of my favorite places to hike in Eastern Massachusetts. There are a lot of cool sites here to see including the Stone Tower, Dungeon Rock and the steel tower. There are also great views of Boston. The fall foliage is great here too. Climbing to the top of the Stone Tower was also awesome!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 17 mentions

“Fun rocks to climb on at the end and pretty views of the water along the way (no swimming permitted) cute froggo and wintergreen plant.”
