Confirmed from Mangan Woods' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Mangan Woods
“Beautiful place to hike and explore.”
Amazing woods and old growth forest. It's a pity the County is allowing biking here. We've noticed changes over the years. There's some trail degradation, the hiking isn't as peaceful as it used to be, and the wildlife sightings are fewer.
The actual woods in the middle of the city. Good hiking paths. We only saw maybe 2 other people. Paths are signed. Bikes. Hiking. Atv. Definitely want to go back in the spring.
Beautiful hike and a ton of trails. I imagine there are times when you really have to watch out for mountain bikes though.
Beautiful place to hike and explore. There's an outdoor archery range nearby and then The Rock sports complex and other stores and restaurants. The woods are just gorgeous.
