Confirmed from Marlboro Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Marlboro Nature Trail
“Beautiful views along the way and a nice view of the marshland and river.”
“Blue trail has a little overgrowth but still easy to follow.”
Not a big area but nicely maintained trails that go down by the water. Nice place to stretch your legs and have the kids run around.
Easy hike, around 1.10 miles if you do all the yellow, red and blue trails. Well maintained and marked trails. Good for any skill level, with a couple of steep areas. Good for kids, but probably not strollers or a wheelchair. Beautiful views along the way and a nice view of the marshland and river. Plenty of parking.
I love the Marlboro Nature Trail. I used to live out West where nature hikes could be found everywhere. Nowadays this is the best one hour hike within half an hour drive of where I live. It's kinda sad but I'm an optimist. It's a great little hike and a good workout climbing back up the hill.
I was surprised how nice this trail is. Very easy hike. The trail leads down to creek views at a couple of different spots. At the two creeks point an osprey was perched in a tree on the other side of the water. Also spotted some black-capped chickadees and heard but didn’t see a number of different woodpeckers.
Trail conditions & character
“Beautiful views along the way and a nice view of the marshland and river.”
“It's a winding path straight down a steep incline to the water than straight back up but that's what living in the Mountains is all about 🤩”
“Good for kids, but probably not strollers or a wheelchair.”
“It tired her out just enough and is an easy spot to teach how to follow trail markers.”

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
