Confirmed from Marrington Plantation Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great, just great, you as a person that wants your health back... Yes you, reading my review..... go here and learn to love the outdoors and believe air is more important than being in the house. For those of you who prefer to walk, the road is open and you can walk, along ways back to the fields.

Great trail to walk and pet friendly. There were very few people in the park when I went which made it a very quiet walk. Lots of wildlife including alligators in the ponds. Will definitely return to this very well maintained trail again!

This trail is very easy to walk. Only had minor difficulties with some puddles along the way. Pet friendly and has an amenity center

★★★★☆ — Nate , Apr 2024

Check out The Amazon and for some epic singletrack try the extreme Foster's Creek loop with some actual up and down and one degree of technicality. For the most part pretty tame but you can do 20 or 30 miles without getting bored and nobody uses it. Ssshhh. Don't tell anyone. Too good to spoil

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
