Confirmed from Marsh Creek Rain Garden Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

So the city decided to pool up all the rain water in the area to help prevent flooding. And then they did this...how cool is this area. This is a great place to walk and relax (of course when it's not raining) and it's absolutely beautiful. My wife and I will definitely will return for another walk and even a picnic.

Marsh Creek Rain Garden Park is a small but beautifully maintained neighborhood spot located just minutes from the city center. While compact, it offers a peaceful, well-kept environment that makes it perfect for a quick break or a quiet walk. A hidden gem in the heart of the community.

This is a nice park away from the road. We go there to walk the dog. It has a nice loop path around a lake with a fountain. People are usually very friendly and many are walking their dogs there. There are at least 5 picnic tables and some have coverage and umbrellas. There is also some parking.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 6 mentions

“The park is dog friendly, handicap friendly, and I've never had any issues with other dogs or humans here.”
