Confirmed from Martin Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Martin Park
“It was a quiet, cute little park with parking, a picnic area and restrooms.”
Absolutely great little hidden park. 4 picnic tables, 2 of which are under a pavilion. Has bathrooms. A small play structure for littles and larger one with something for everyone. Quiet. We were there for almost 2 hours and were the only ones there. Basketball court was nice. Walking path around the outside and field.
Perfect little hidden gem! Great playground area, lots of green space, walking trails and more. Hidden in the middle of a residential neighborhood. My almost 2 year old daughter loved it. There is also a covered pavilion with picnic tables les for lunch, water fountain and bathroom!
There is a large field that is often used for sports, a basketball court, small playground, a walking path, a pavilion and a grill. This is a great place to bring your kids and walk around. It is hidden from view and is truly a hidden jewel of Rocky River.
Love this place. Enclosed, only one way in and out. Paved path to ride a bike, soccer nets, small pavilion with tables and nice playground structure. AND bathrooms 😉

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
